Bruises.

I recently found a completely random, majorly disturbing bruise on my calf.  I have no idea where it came from, or how long it has been there.  Which got me thinking.  Uh oh.

I bet there are so many things in life that leave some little bruising on my life without me even realizing it.  Makes it so much more important to build myself up in Christ and find myself in Him so that those "bruises" don't cause me to stumble...

And so I continue my musings...

Foreign concept.

We are to seek truth out for ourselves rather than just accept what we are told.

Where to find truth?
Scripture.
Where do we go looking?
Everywhere else.
Something wrong with this picture?
Search and search passtionately for the truth.
For it is truth that sets us free.
Aren't we all chasing after freedom...
So why run when the very thing we desire is staring us in the face?
Fear.
Fear drives us away from that divine freedom.

Lord, I pray that my fear of whatever is to come draws me closer to Your glorious self.
